- Born 14.10.1972 in Rheinhausen in the Niederrhein -Area (now for some time belonging to Duisburg) in Germany.
- Short time after moved to Rumeln-Kaldenhausen, where I still live.

- 1993 - 1996: Electrical Engineering studies at the Gerhard Mercator Universität Duisburg.

Got basig knowlegde of economic law and accountancy. - 1998 - 2003: Computer Engineerung studies at the Hochschule Niederrhein - University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld.

Title of the diploma thesis: "Konzeption und Realisierung von Hardware und echtzeitfähiger Software für eine Modellrennbahn" (engl.: "Conception and Realisation of Hardware and Realtime-Software for a Modell/ Toy Race-Track). Done at the Labor Echtzeitsysteme of the Hochschule Niederrhein.
Practical Training/ Jobs
- 1992 - 1993: 12 month basic military service working as a truck driver. Got a driving licence for heavy trucks.
- 1994: 8 weeks basic practical training: "Basics of Metal Working", "Thermal Joining and Seperation Techniques including Acetylene and AC Arc Welding" at "Mannesmann DEMAG Hüttentechnik" in Benrath.

"Comfort Card
Services GmbH". Maintenance of a Windows NT network,
in-house support, User-Helpdesk, some small projects:
- Introduction of a HylaFax Server that makes it possible to send faxes from any workstation in the house from any Windows program.
- Integration of a Samba-Server running GNU/ Linux into the Windows domain for using an special color-printer from the Windows NT Workstations additional to the small Apple network.
- Installation of a bind9 DNS Server with Master und Slave-Server that is updated automatically via zone-transfer. If the primary server fails the slave takes over the name-resolution of inter- and intra-net addresses transparently
- Support for an installation of Checkpoint FW1 Firewall on Sun Solaris/ Sparc
- Consulting on data and network security.
I got some basic knowledge about IBM iSeries, formaly "AS/400" from self-studies.
